If you decide to hire a tree service to perform a tree removal you should ask to have the tree removal cost in writing. A formal, written estimate of the tree removal cost should list what is included in the price of the tree removal job.
Does the tree removal cost include:
* Removal of tree branches from the site? * Removal of the wood from the large tree branches or tree trunk from the site? * If the wood is not being removed will it be cut up? What will be the length of the cut up wood? * Will excess sawdust from cutting up the tree trunk be raked up? * Will the wood be moved to a different location on the site? * Is stump grinding included? How deep will the stump grinding be? * Are the chips from the stump grinding going to be removed?
Having the tree removal cost in writing reduces miscommunication when the tree service shows up to perform the tree removal for you.
